National GEAR UP Academy

The National GEAR UP Academy is designed to develop the skills, knowledge, and practices of GEAR UP leaders, practitioners, and partners. Designed for engagement, this event focuses on topics relevant to GEAR UP professionals with a focus on tools, foundational knowledge, timely topics, and team time. 

The National GEAR UP Academy is open to all GEAR UP professionals interested in learning more about supporting students and families toward college and career access and success. We encourage GEAR UP directors, coordinators, grant managers, evaluators, middle and high school educators, postsecondary educators, and partners to attend. 

There will be four different types of Classes offered: 

• GEAR UP 101 – Foundational Knowledge on key GEAR UP topics 

• Workshops – Interactive sessions focused on practical tools 

• Showcase – Series of brief presentations on a similar topic 

• Discussions – Problem solving and networking using breakouts 

In addition, there will be energizing keynotes, pre-conference sessions, social engagement activities, exhibitor spotlights, and team time to debrief.

• NCCEP Member registration is $495 for the full event.

• NCCEP Non-Member registration is $595 for the full event.

• One-day registration is $300 for both NCCEP Members and Non-Members.

• If you register 10 or more full registrations at once, each individual registration fee will be discounted by $25. 

Registration covers online access to the National GEAR UP Academy and all sessions, networking opportunities, and the Exhibit Hall. Sessions will be recorded and available to view for 3 months after the event. 

You can pay for registration using a credit card, check, purchase order, or by requesting an invoice. If you request an invoice, please allow 5–7 business days to receive the invoice. To receive an invoice, please add payments@edpartnerships.org to your safe sender list. 

You will receive an email from events@edpartnerships.org with your confirmation number, registration information, and access to the virtual event. Please add the email address events@edpartnerships.org to your safe senders list. 

Yes! Speakers will be available for the duration of their presentation to answer questions and engage with attendees. 

Sessions will redirect to Zoom, so be sure to have the most updated version of Zoom installed on your device. During sessions, you will have the opportunity to chat with other attendees and engage in activities. 

NCCEP regrets that no cancellations or refunds will be given for any registrations. The registration permits the registrant full access to the content for 3 months after the conclusion of the event.
