Concurrent Session #45 (Monday, July 21, 2014)
In this session, participants will learn about an evaluation project conducted with the In-School partnership component of Arizona GEAR UP. In this project, GEAR UP professionals participated in a multi-step concept mapping procedure that was designed to help them identify specific college and career readiness outcomes, to organize those outcomes into a conceptual framework, and to assess these outcomes in terms of feasibility and importance. Besides describing this project, the presentation will focus on how the concept mapping procedure used in this project might be used generally for program development and improvement purposes.
