What do people mean when they say we are moving toward a design framework, not a knowledge curriculum?  How are we shifting our curriculum, instruction, and assessment systems to reflect 21st Century skills and content?  Join us for this invigorating STEM session that tells the story of one small town and an amazing team of teachers who turned teaching and learning upside down during their summer GEAR UP program.  Take ideas from this model program and create a summer STEM experience for your students.  This will be an interactive, engaging session. Audience questions and ideas are recommended.
