Concurrent Session #124 (Tuesday, July 22, 2014)
Workforce, Grant Management
This interactive session will feature effective strategies which promote college awareness and readiness at any middle or high school. No matter your role, teacher, administrator, grant partner or community member, find out how any stakeholder can impact student awareness, achievement and the climate of a school. In every school environment there should be an expectation that college is a reasonable prospect for ALL students. When high expectations become tradition, something EVERYONE does, a true College Going Culture is born! Attendees will develop strategies that specifically apply to their role and context and share ideas and best practices.
