# 45 - Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Connecting College to Career through Program Collaboration and Community Partnerships
This presentation will provide a broad perspective on Michigan GEAR UP’s community partnerships and program collaboration, linking college access, financial literacy, and workforce development goals and activities. Michigan GEAR UP’s financial literacy and workforce development programs are supported by funding from the federal Workforce Investment Act and Americorps. Community partnerships include Project Ace, a local College Access Network, Southeast Michigan Community Alliance, a Michigan Works agency, as well as Michigan GEAR UP University Partner Institutions. The presentation will review strategies to maximize outcomes through program collaboration and shared program goals, workforce development activities supporting college access, and a selection of cross-program collaborative partners.
