As part of her Reach Higher campaign, First Lady Michelle Obama has issued two “challenges” to expand opportunities for students to pursue a postsecondary education. Finalists have an opportunity to invite the First Lady to appear as a graduation speaker at their school or institution. NCCEP is hosting a conference call with Department of Education/Reach Higher officials on November 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM (EST) to provide an overview of the competitions and to discuss how GEAR UP can get involved.
