GEAR UP for Youth Venture
| NCCEP and Youth Venture recognize the power young people have to
make positive changes in the world. To support and develop
students’ ability to be agents of change, the two organizations
are pleased to announce “GEAR UP for Youth Venture.” This
exciting opportunity is designed to support students in their efforts to
make a difference in their community. |
 |
Youth
Venture provides a planning process and seed grants of up to $1,000
to teams of students who have identified a problem in their community
and want to create a community-benefiting Venture. YV then connects them
to a global community of young changemakers. Youth Venture has committed
to reserving 200 of these grants – up to $200,000 –
specifically for GEAR UP students. Every dollar of a GEAR UP for
Youth Venture grant counts as match.
