Strategic Partnerships and Alliances
NCCEP is continually pursuing strategic alliances and partnerships to
assist the programs and communities. By aligning with a strong coalition
of nonprofit, foundation, and corporate partners, NCCEP and its
constituent programs are having a tremendous impact on students,
communities, and ultimately this nation's economic well being. Through
these alliances, we hope to:
- explore issues that affect low-income and minority children
throughout the K-16 education continuum and align multi-sector
initiatives in addressing those issues;
- provide a forum in which the corporate, education, and nonprofit
sectors can share information on the benefits of creating and sustaining
K-16 education/community partnerships;
- serve as a catalyst for greater resource alignment in order to
produce maximum college success results for students and families;
- promote the importance of business involvement in the education
partnership movement at the national and local levels to leverage needed
resources for our constituent communities; and
- communicate with public policy officials in a unified voice
promoting the importance and impact of the GEAR UP program.
